A sauna apart in Lyon
Oasis Club Sauna bills itself as the city's first LGBT inclusive sauna, just steps from Place des Terreaux. Here, the door opens to gay men, women and trans people, which sets it apart from the classic gay saunas downtown. Entry is reserved for adults 18 and over.
Atmosphere and crowd
The venue plays the cosy card rather than the cruising factory one: colourful decor, spaces designed to make you feel good, deliberately modest size. Regulars talk about a mixed and welcoming crowd, and a management that watches over mutual respect between all audiences. It is this inclusive tone, more than the size of the facilities, that has built its reputation.

Hours and access
The venue is closed on Wednesdays. On other days, it opens during the day from noon or 1pm, with late nights running until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. Payment is made in cash or by Visa card, on site at 2 rue Coustou, in Lyon's 1st arrondissement.
