Histoire d'Eau has been around since 1998, making it one of the oldest swinger sauna clubs in the city. It's set at 1 rue Romarin, a stone's throw from Croix-Rousse and place des Terreaux, in the 1st arrondissement.

Two floors, two moods
The ground floor is designed as a classic wellness space: sauna, hammam, pool and jacuzzi, for those who come first and foremost for the relaxation side of things. It's a good airlock to settle in before heading upstairs.
The second level shifts gears entirely: ten cuddle corners and one private room, with private showers to freshen up between moments. All the cabins come with disposable covers, a detail that matters for hygiene in this kind of venue.

Hours and evenings
The venue is closed on Mondays. On Tuesdays, it opens from 1pm to 1am. Wednesday and Thursday, hours run 2pm to 8pm, then 8pm to 9pm and 9pm to 1am. Friday and Saturday, the slots stretch to 3am, with a mixed Saturday running from 8pm to 3am. On Sunday, the place closes its doors at 8pm.
Themed evenings punctuate the calendar: naturist nights, couples' nights and other more specialized formats add variety to the mood depending on the period.
