A sauna that doesn't do things by halves
In Pau, La Station holds a place of its own. It's a libertine sauna that clearly plays the mixed crowd card: gay men are right at home here, but couples and women on their own also find their footing, which isn't so common in this kind of venue.
The size of the place is a bit impressive on first visit: between 600 and 650 m² spread over several levels, with about twenty cosy cabins for those looking for a quiet corner.
Three water zones and plenty to keep you busy
On the pure relaxation side, there's plenty of room to breathe: dry sauna, jacuzzi and hammam share the space, with cold showers for those who like contrasts. A smoking room and a chill-out zone round things off for the off moments.
On the play side, the venue doesn't pretend: cruising zone, glory hole, St Andrew's cross, video room and mirror room are all announced upfront. A bar lets you take a break and chat before or after. The venue also has access for people with disabilities, which remains rare in this sector.
