A sex shop that doesn't stop there
Le Lokal has occupied Rue Duboué in Pau for quite a while now, and the word sex shop fits it a bit small. Spread across 450 m² split into three zones, the boutique of magazines and erotic products is only the entry point to a much larger complex, designed for couples, women and LGBTQ+ clientele just as much as for solo men.
Here you'll find a dry sauna with 10 spots, a hammam with 20 spots and a jacuzzi pool that can hold up to 25 people. Alongside that, two cinemas, straight and gay, plus a rest lounge equipped with 10 massage bed cabins, a glory hole and a backroom for those looking for something other than simple relaxation.
Hours and prices
Le Lokal closes on Mondays, but opens every other day of the week. Tuesday through Thursday and on Sunday, it's 1pm to 8pm. Friday and Saturday, the doors stay open until 2am.
As for prices, it varies by day. On weekdays and Sunday, entry is 20 euros for men (10 euros for 18 to 25 year olds) and 20 euros for couples, free for women and trans people. From Friday to Sunday, rates for men and couples go up to 25 euros, still with the same reduced rate for young people and free entry for women and trans people. Access is restricted to adults.

The Sunday slot specifically targets LGBTQ+ clientele, with an atmosphere and crowd that naturally differ from other days. It's a recognized fixture, a full-fledged part of Le Lokal's week.
