A historic naturist domain

La Haute Garduère has been around since 1974, which makes it a well established name on the Var naturist scene. The grounds cover 70 hectares entirely dedicated to naturism, run by Annie Dizier.

It's a small campsite, with a capacity of around 100 people, designed for a family and regular clientele rather than passing visitors. The vibe described by regulars is that of a friendly place, where people find each other again year after year.

Nature and quiet

The setting is that of a preserved natural domain, with hiking trails accessible directly from the campsite. The dense vegetation and the calm of the place make it a spot associated with rest more than nightlife.

This strong nature side comes up often in visitor feedback, who appreciate going off the beaten path while staying within a regulated naturist setting.

Pool and dining

The pool is free and open to non residents, which makes it a popular meeting point for the local naturist community, beyond just the campers staying on site. A restaurant offering local products rounds out the offer, with services ramping up from mid June onward.

Access and opening season

The domain is located on the road to Grasse (RD 562), in Callas, in the Var. Access is reserved for campsite guests, a rule meant to preserve the naturist character of the place.

Under normal circumstances, the season runs from May 1st to September 27th. Season rates are published on the domain's website once the reopening is confirmed.
