A libertine sauna in the heart of Lyon
The Luxor has held its place in the Lyon libertine scene since 2006. It's located at 11 rue de la Martinière, in the 1st arrondissement, about 300 meters from the main parking areas in the neighborhood.
Here we're more in libertine sauna territory than classic club with themed parties: the venue banks on its wellness spaces and facilities rather than on an event lineup.
450 m² over three levels
The place spans 450 m² of air conditioned space spread over three floors. You'll find a heated pool and a whirlpool bath, a sauna, a hammam, as well as ten private cabins for those looking for a bit more intimacy.
Two video rooms round out the offering, along with a friendly bar to catch your breath between activities. In the basement, a fully equipped SM space (the famous dungeon) is there for those who want to explore this practice in a setting designed for it.
Rates and hours
General admission is set at 40 euros on weekdays and 50 euros on Friday and Saturday, with two drinks included. Couples get in free on Tuesday and Wednesday, both daytime and evening, while singles pay 15 euros on those same days.
The Luxor is open Monday to Thursday from 12pm to 7pm then 9pm to 1am, Friday from 12pm to 7pm then 9pm to 3am, Saturday from 2pm to 7pm then 9pm to 2am, and Sunday from 2pm to 7pm only. Access is reserved for adults aged 18 and over, and appropriate dress is required at the entrance.
