Espace Miscanthus

L'Espace Miscanthus is a bit of an exception in the swinging landscape of the Grand Est: a domain spanning several hectares tucked between a gravel pit and ponds, just a stone's throw from Guebwiller, that blends outdoor naturism with a swingers' club. We're far from the urban clubs with red neon lights, here people come as much to unwind as to meet someone.

A 5 hectare domain

The outdoor area takes up most of the site: lawns, trees, a gravel pit and two ponds set up for swimming and pedal boat rides. A pool heated to 28°C welcomes visitors all year round, alongside a wood-fired Finnish sauna and an outdoor terrace with a bar.

You could easily spend a whole afternoon outside without ever setting foot in the indoor section, between naturist sunbathing and a swim.

600 sqm under the roof

The indoor section covers 600 sqm and brings together a sauna, hammam, hot tub and several intimate lounges for those looking for more privacy. A massage area and a bar round out the space.

The maximum capacity is 130 people, which leaves plenty of breathing room even on the busiest nights.

Couples nights and rates

The club is open every day from 2pm to 10pm, with dedicated couples nights on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 7pm. Access is restricted to adults and the crowd mixes couples, single women and single men, with an average age around 33, quite young for this type of venue.

As for rates: 10 euros for a woman, 30 euros for a single man and 30 euros for a couple.

Getting there and atmosphere

The site is located on route de Staffelfelden in Berrwiller, accessible via the departmental road between Cernay and Guebwiller: take the Staffelfelden exit, then it's 50 meters on the left.

Regulars mostly praise the setting, rare for a swingers' club, and an atmosphere described as warm and pressure free. The rates are seen as fair given the quality of the facilities, and the place clearly attracts a fair share of established couples looking for a moment together rather than a wild night out.
