Iris Shop has been running its shop in Metz since December 1996, which makes it one of the oldest addresses of its kind in the city. No flashy window display, no trendy concept: it's a small setup, run by one or two people, that built its customer base over time rather than through marketing.

We're far from the new generation of concept store style sex shops here. The spirit here stays that of a neighborhood shop, discreet, that's been doing the job for close to thirty years.

Hours and access

Iris Shop is open Monday to Saturday, from noon to 7pm. Closed on Sundays. The hours are generous on weekdays, which leaves flexibility to drop by during the day or in the late afternoon, but there's no late slot or Sunday opening.

Access is reserved for adults, as with any shop of this kind.

Online reviews are mixed. Some appreciate the shop for its longevity and the staff's availability, others find it a bit dated in its presentation and range compared to newer chains that focus on a more polished welcome or a wider selection.
