A dedicated meadow
In the heart of the Bois de Vincennes, in the 12th arrondissement, a 7300 m² meadow has been reserved for naturists since 2017. The space sits between the Allée Royale and the Route Dauphine, just below the woods' bird sanctuary. Four access paths lead to it, each marked with wooden signs that clearly outline the boundary of the zone.
It's land managed by the Paris City Council, governed by a municipal decree drawn up with the Fédération Française de Naturisme. No particular facilities here, no changing rooms or refreshment stand: it's natural terrain, a simple open meadow, designed for naturism and nothing else.
Access and hours
Entry is free and open, during all opening hours of the site. Hours follow the seasons: opening at 8am year round, closing at 7:30pm in April and October, until 8:30pm in April to May and in September, and until 9:30pm from May to end of August, during summer's longest hours.
No booking, no ticket to show. You come here like any other corner of the Bois de Vincennes, except that the expected attire is... the absence of attire.
The mood on site
The rule is simple, nudity is the norm in this space and exhibitionist behavior has no place here. It's a spot designed for relaxation, respect for everyone's privacy and naturism in the true sense of the word, far from any sexual connotation.
Local associations, notably the Association des Naturistes de Paris, sometimes organize group activities on site or nearby. The rest of the time, the atmosphere remains that of a slightly out of the way Parisian meadow, where people come to sunbathe, read or simply enjoy the calm without clothes.

Feedback highlights the legitimacy of the place: it's a space officially recognized by the city for several years now, which reassures those practitioners still a bit hesitant about undressing right in the capital. Attendance stays steady, driven by regulars who appreciate finding a discreet and respectful corner without having to leave Paris.
Several tourist guides and naturism specialty guides now cite this space as an urban reference of the genre, alongside the major coastal naturist areas.
