A beach you have to earn
Grande Plage, also called L'Alexandre, sits north of Lacanau Océan, along the edge of the Maison Forestière de l'Alexandre, facing the Maison Forestière du Lion. The naturist stretch runs there, with no official sign, but long tolerated by the regulars of the area.
An access that filters people out
You don't drive here right up to the sand. Access is on foot or by bike from Plage Super Sud, or via the bike path starting at the village of Longarisse. Count on about 15 minutes of walking from the nearest car park, which already puts off a good chunk of people.
Wild and quiet
The result: a lightly frequented sandy beach, with no lifeguard post, where naturists, couples and a few textile bathers cross paths. Feedback mostly mentions this calm and wild feel, kept alive precisely by how hard it is to reach. No facilities on site, no lifeguard watching the water: you come here for the isolation, not for the comfort.
