Domaine Laborde stretches out in Paulhiac, in Lot-et-Garonne, in a patch of countryside straddling Périgord and Dordogne. Rated 4 stars, it's a naturist campsite that has clearly bet on comfort rather than old school wild camping. You come here nude, but you'll lack for nothing.

The surrounding region is worth a detour too: bastide towns and châteaux aren't far, plenty to see if you leave the estate for a day and the urge for textile comes back.

Where to lay your towel

On the accommodation side, the choice is wide. Mobile homes and chalets from 20 to 30 m² for 2 to 6 people, lodges, traditional tents or simple camping pitches for those who bring their own gear.

Rates start around 150 euros, with variations depending on the type of lodging chosen and the time of stay. The estate is open from May 1st to September 20th, which leaves a good window to plan your naturist getaway without rushing.

Five pools and plenty to do

What strikes you first are the water facilities: five pools in total, between heated and covered swimming pools and a water park with slides. Enough to keep kids and grown ups busy without ever putting a swimsuit back on, obviously.

For relaxation, there's a sauna, hammam and wellness massages available on site. On the more down to earth side: archery, pétanque, hiking trails nearby.

In the evening, the estate organizes concerts and entertainment, and on the food side, a full restaurant and a pizzeria mean you don't have to cook under the tent after a day of swimming.

An estate built for beginners

What stands out from feedback is the welcome given to newcomers to naturism. The estate makes a point of reassuring those who walk through the door for the first time, and the family friendly, warm atmosphere seems to win everyone over.

Families with kids fit in particularly well thanks to the water area and entertainment, but beginner couples and solos find their place too without feeling out of their depth.

Access and practical info

Wifi is available on site, and access is planned for people with reduced mobility, even though some areas remain limited depending on the terrain's layout. Motorhomes and caravans are welcome, as are classic tents.
