The Helio Club de l'Espiguette isn't a beach in itself, but the association that watches over one of the longest stretches of naturist sand on the Gard coastline. On the Espiguette beach, between the point and the Baronnets sector, it manages and protects a zone reserved for naturism, in the spirit of the Fédération Française de Naturisme.
A clearly marked zone
The reserved stretch runs about 450 meters. A sign lays out the rules clearly: beach reserved for naturism, permitted from April 15 to September 30, with free access along the shore.
Outside that window, the zone loses its naturist status. The club, as a nonprofit association under the 1901 law, steps in regularly on site so that this balance between nature, calm and nudity stays respected from one season to the next.
Who can go there
Access is meant for naturists who are members of the FFN or the AANR, or for those willing to join the association itself. A valid FFN/AANR card is usually enough, otherwise you'll need to get in touch with the club about membership.
This setup mostly attracts naturist couples and families, used to the codes of the federal movement: full nudity, mutual respect and discretion from outside eyes.
