Taurus in love

Taurus loves the way other people buy a house. Slow inspection, questions about the foundations, no signing on impulse. Charm alone does not work here, consistency does. Show up twice at the time you said you would and you have made more progress than anyone who wrote three paragraphs of poetry at 2am.

Once the decision is made, it is made. This is a fixed earth sign, which in practice means Taurus builds a life around you rather than a feeling about you. Shared shopping lists, a favourite side of the bed, the mug you always get. Attachment happens through repetition and touch, not through declarations. A Taurus who starts cooking for you regularly has already fallen in love and will probably say so months later.

The downside? Possessive, in a quiet way that rarely makes scenes but keeps a mental ledger. Stubborn to the point of absurdity, because changing position feels like losing ground. • Mixed signals, flirting with someone else to provoke a reaction
• Pushing for a decision, a label or a bed before Taurus is ready
• Chaos as a personality: dramatic exes, permanent crises, no fixed address

Who it works with

Virgo is the quiet classic. Two earth signs who both want the practical version of love: bills paid, plans kept, a bed with clean sheets and no drama in it. Virgo brings precision, Taurus brings warmth and stops Virgo overthinking mid-act.

Capricorn works for similar reasons with more ambition in the mix. Slow build, long game, excellent physically once the armour comes off. These two can plan a decade together without getting bored.
