A shop that breaks the mould
Paradise Boutik has set up at Mas Guérido, in Cabestany, on the outskirts of Perpignan. The shop is part of a small network of six love shops scattered along the Mediterranean coast, from Béziers to Toulon, taking in Montpellier and Cap d'Agde along the way. Here, the idea isn't to reproduce the dusty image of the corner sex shop, but rather to offer a space designed like a high end fashion or lingerie boutique.
Across 200 m², the decor goes for a contemporary, polished style, far from the red neon and plastic curtains some of us still picture. The place openly claims an "anti sex shop" stance, and you can feel it both in the layout and in the way you're welcomed.
