A large dedicated space

Cube takes up 300 m² right in the center of Lille, on rue du Vieux Faubourg. Open since 2006, the venue has built a solid reputation with a male clientele that keeps coming back. This isn't a quick in and out sex shop, it's a place designed for lingering a while.

The floor is split between the shop itself and cruising areas, which makes it a fairly rare hybrid spot on the Lille scene.

What you'll find there

On the shop side, the offering is broad: more than 6000 DVDs, a sizeable selection of sex toys, lube and condoms. Plenty to find what you're after, whether you're hunting for a specific item or just browsing.

On the cruising side, Cube has two porn cinemas and 24 booths, single or double. It's this part that gives the venue its particular reputation and draws a loyal crowd, coming as much for the encounters as for the products.

Wheelchair access is available, a detail that isn't always thought through in this kind of venue.

Atmosphere and clientele

The word on the street about this place tends to circle back to three things: the size (rare at this scale), the DVD selection and the discretion guaranteed on site. The clientele is overwhelmingly male, and regulars seem to appreciate finding a steady space that's been around for almost twenty years.

Entry is reserved for adults 18 and over, as with any venue of this kind.

Hours and access

Cube is open Monday to Thursday from 10am to midnight, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 1am, and Sunday plus public holidays from noon to midnight. Extended hours that make it easy to drop by whether it's daytime or evening.

The address sits a few minutes' walk from Lille Flandres train station, served by metro lines M1 and M2, which makes the venue easy to reach from anywhere in the metro area.
