An address that's stood the test of time

Xcenter has kept shop at 10 boulevard Aristide Briand since 1997, making it one of the oldest names in the region. The house has since opened two other locations, in Plan de Campagne and in Marseille, but the Aix address remains the original store.

The entrance is on rue des Menudières, tucked away nicely for anyone who'd rather not be spotted on the main shopping street.

Two spaces under one roof

The ground floor plays it classic sex shop style: sex toys for women, men and couples, lingerie, naughty outfits, lube, massage oils, erotic books and BDSM accessories. The whole thing spans 200 m², leaving room to wander and browse without feeling cramped.

Upstairs, a swingers' space fitted with screening areas changes the register completely. You go from shop to a place built for other uses, on site, far from a simple purchase.

The shop opens Monday to Saturday from 10am to midnight, and Sunday from 2pm to midnight as well. Generous hours that let you drop by at the end of the day or in the evening without rushing.

Online ordering is also available, with free delivery over 59 euros of purchase, handy for topping off a choice made in store or ordering more discreetly.

The atmosphere on site

Word going around about this store speaks of a judgment-free welcome, in a setting that's rather well kept for the genre. It's that tone, halfway between the neighborhood sex shop and the slightly dressier boutique, that comes up most often among regulars of the chain.
