A municipal aquatic center

Nautiland is Haguenau's aquatic center, right in the heart of Alsace. It's a public facility that welcomes families and athletes alike, with a 25 meter pool for swimming real laps and kids' pools for the little ones.

You'll also find slides and a lazy river for those who come more to have fun. The house rules ban board shorts and loose swim trunks, as in regulated pools, only fitted swimwear is allowed in the pools.

A relaxation area where nudity is the rule

What sets Nautiland apart is its wellness area: sauna, steam room and cold bath. In this part of the facility, you undress, nudity is the norm there as in most French sauna steam room spaces, unlike the swimming pools where swimwear stays mandatory.

It's this specific point that puts Nautiland on the list of spots for naturist practice, clearly distinct from the rest of the aquatic center which runs the classic way, swimwear required.

Rates and hours

Access works by session or by subscription. Count on 6.20 euros for a two hour entry, 7.60 euros for the day, and 13.40 euros if you want to add sauna steam room access.

For regulars, the monthly subscription comes to 52.50 euros and the quarterly one to 102 euros.

• Monday to Friday: 12pm to 9pm (10am to 9pm during school holidays)
• Saturday and Sunday: 9am to 7pm

Activities and services

Beyond free swimming, Nautiland offers swimming lessons, aquabiking, aquaboxing and aquajogging. It's also an address for organizing a birthday or a group outing, with a dedicated booking system.

Parking is available on site, handy for coming by car from around Haguenau.
