Le Tilleul - Antifer

Overview
Antifer beach nestles between Cap d'Antifer and Pointe du Fourquet, on this stretch of the Alabaster Coast still spared from mass tourism. You walk on pebbles, with a few sandbanks revealing themselves at low tide, and you often find yourself looking up at the white cliffs framing the site.

This isn't a beach you stumble upon while driving by. You have to earn it, and that's exactly what makes it a naturist spot apart.

Access and parking
You can only get there on foot, counting about 25 minutes' walk from the car park on Rue de la Mer, in Le Tilleul, reached from the D940. Parking is free, which is no small thing on this stretch of coast.

There's no direct car access to the beach itself: this natural filter largely explains the tranquility of the place.

Atmosphere and crowd
Regulars describe an isolated, silent spot, where you mostly meet naturists looking for calm rather than buzz. Couples and families gather here, far from the crowds of the region's better known naturist beaches like Dieppe or Varengeville.

Dogs on a leash are welcome, letting walkers with their companions enjoy the site too. Online reviews keep highlighting the beauty of the setting and that feeling of a bubble far from everything, with almost no negative comments.

Status and regulations
Nota bene: naturist practice on this beach falls under municipal tolerance, not an official status. A municipal decree theoretically bans nudity in this area, but in practice, naturist use here is long-standing and accepted without issue, both by the town and by visitors.

This situation, fairly common along the Normandy coast, partly explains why the beach stays under the radar: few facilities, no naturist signage visible from the road, and a crowd that mostly passes the word along between insiders.
