Plage des Chevrets

Naturism tolerated, not official

Plage des Chevrets is located in Saint-Coulomb, in Ille-et-Vilaine, right next to a rocky point that separates it from the rest of the coastline. The naturist zone has been tolerated there for a long time, without being backed by any municipal order. That's a point worth knowing before you go bare here: custom outweighs regulation, and the regulars generally make sure that peace and quiet is respected.

The sand is fine, the beach belongs to the town, and it's accessible all year round. Nothing like the big, clearly marked naturist beaches down south, this is more of a discreet spot passed on among the locals in Brittany.

A calm, local vibe

Feedback describes a quiet place where nudity is accepted without anyone making a fuss about it. Attendance stays modest compared to other naturist spots in Brittany, which makes it a fairly restful place, far from the summer bustle.

Here you'll mostly run into residents from the nearby campsite and paragliding enthusiasts, who take advantage of the air currents above the rocky point. This double calling, beach and free-flight zone, gives the place a bit of a special charm: you might find yourself lying on the sand watching sails glide above the water.

Access and surroundings

A coastal path starts from Plage des Chevrets and lets you walk to Anse de la Touesse, the neighboring beach. It's a good option for extending your walk along the coast, between coves and rocky points typical of this corner of Brittany.

The local campsite, right nearby, partly explains the beach's attendance: many of its residents make it their go-to naturist spot during their stay.
