A historic club

Plein Air Relax Club has been around since 1966, making it one of the oldest naturist parks in the Hauts-de-France region. Set in Houplines, in a non-buildable agricultural zone, it spans 5000 m2 just 13 km from Lille, about a short half hour drive.

Affiliated with the Fédération Française de Naturisme and the Fédération Naturiste Internationale, the venue runs on classic association-based membership: you come here as a member, not as a casual visitor passing through.

What you'll find there

The park bets on the useful minimum rather than flashy extras. A heated pool remains the centerpiece, backed up by a snack bar to catch your breath between two rounds of sunbathing.

Families with kids aren't forgotten: trampolines and a play area are designed for them. Parking is available on site.

Atmosphere and crowd

Here, the crowd is family oriented: couples with or without kids, members who come back year after year. Regulars often talk about the park like a second home, a place to drop your things for the day and find a slower pace again.

Events punctuate the season: sports competitions, group games, dance evenings, méchouis and regional meetups between members. Enough to go beyond simple sunbathing for those looking for a bit of social connection.

As for feedback, the family and friendly atmosphere comes up often, as does appreciation for the green setting and the closeness to Lille. The one thing that limits some stays: there's no accommodation on site, so no overnight stays in the park, only days or half days.

Rates and access

Couple membership, with or without kids, is set at 260 euros and includes the Fédération Française de Naturisme license.

The park opens its doors every day from 9am to 7pm, with no closing day during the week. The exact address is 47 Ruelle de la Blanche in Houplines, in the Nord department.
