A naturist estate on a human scale

Gîte Bouhebent occupies seven hectares of wooded countryside in Gabarret, in the Landes, between Mont-de-Marsan and Agen. You're right in the heart of Armagnac country here, a stone's throw from the Barbotan thermal baths.

Odile and Bernard Pierreuse have run this small naturist estate for years, and it shows in the welcome: family run, attentive, far from the impersonal feel of the big centers. This is a place built for rest rather than entertainment.

Studios and outdoor spaces

The grounds have two 20 m2 studios, to rent separately or together depending on the size of your group. Each can host up to four people, enough to house a family or two couples.

Around them, the natural grounds are perfect for walking and lazing about. A lake allows for swimming and fishing, and a boules court rounds out the on site activities. No heated pool, no club, the spirit here stays that of a countryside stay, in naturist attire all day long.

Rates and opening season

The gîte is open from April 15 to October 14. Expect to pay 240 euros a week, or 520 euros for a three week stay, a rate clearly aimed at medium or long stays rather than one night visits.

Gabarret sits right in the heart of Armagnac country, with its vineyards and distilleries to visit outside naturist hours. Châteaux, abbeys and Landes traditions are all within driving distance, for those who want to step off the grounds for a bit.
