Le Bois des Battées climbs a hill overlooking Saint-Bérain-sur-Dheune, right in the heart of Burgundy's wine country. Club du Soleil de Chalon has managed these 6 hectares of woodland for a long time, and you can feel it in how well the grounds are kept: the century-old oaks offer real pockets of shade, a rarity in naturist campsites that bet everything on sunshine.

With only 50 pitches, all fitted with electricity, this is far from being a big impersonal operation. Tents and caravans share shaded or partly shaded spots, which makes a real difference in the middle of a Burgundian summer.

Rates and access

The campsite is located on route de la Vallée des Vaux, on the D124, in Saint-Léger-sur-Dheune. The season is short: from June 11 to September 3, not a day more.

For 2026 season rates, expect around 7 euros per adult per day, 5 euros for a child aged 3 to 14. A tent pitch costs 12 euros, a caravan or motorhome pitch 13 euros. 5A electricity adds 6 euros, and a fridge adds 5 euros. These rates correspond to temporary member status, which is standard practice in campsites affiliated with the Fédération Française de Naturisme.

Life on site

The pool, with its daily water quality checks, is the main draw, rounded out by a small pool for children. The grounds also offer pétanque, volleyball, table tennis and a library for the quieter days.

Fans of outdoor sport will find mountain biking and hiking trails running straight into the surrounding vineyards, with viewpoints well worth the detour. A communal barbecue lets everyone share meals, and on Saturday nights the whole campsite gathers for a shared dinner followed by music on the terrace until midnight. Other evenings stay quiet, leaning more toward rest than revelry.

Free wifi and accessible sanitary facilities for people with reduced mobility round out the amenities, without turning this small campsite into a tourist factory.
