On the doorstep of Sologne, some ten kilometres south of Orléans, Les Bogues is a small naturist campsite tucked away in a wooded, peaceful setting. Run by the association Joie et Santé, affiliated with the Fédération Française de Naturisme, it has welcomed families and couples in a friendly atmosphere for over sixty years.

The site has existed since 1956, making it one of the oldest naturist camps in the Centre-Val de Loire region. It still operates as an association: pitches are reserved for members of Joie et Santé, a way of keeping a family spirit and getting to know the regulars rather than running like a classic campsite open to all.
Setting and facilities
Rated 2 stars, the site has around fifty to sixty pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, plus four bungalows for rent for 2 to 4 people for those who'd rather not pitch anything.
The heated pool, the only one on a naturist site in the Orléans area, remains one of the perks regulars mention most. Children have their own play area, and wifi covers the campsite.
A pétanque court, a communal barbecue and a shared living space round things out, perfect for shared meals and the musical evenings held in summer.
Rates and terms
Expect to pay 13 euros a night for the pitch, 9 euros per adult, 4 euros for children aged 10 to 15, free under 10. The tourist tax of 0.22 euros per night is added to the bill.
