A campsite along the water

Club du Soleil de Dole spreads over two flat, tree-lined hectares along the Loue river, in Belmont in the Jura. It's an association-run ground, not a big commercial complex: you feel it right away, the atmosphere is more intimate, more family-like.

The river is right there, and with it the chance to go canoeing or kayaking, or simply take a dip in running water when you fancy a change from the campsite pool.

Access and rates

The campsite is open from May to August, every day from 9am to 12pm then 2:45pm to 7pm. It closes completely the rest of the year, so no reception outside the season.

On the budget side, a pitch plus one person costs between 11 and 17 euros a night depending on the period. Day visitors pay 10 euros, electricity is billed at 6 euros a day and the tourist tax adds 0.20 euros per night for those over 14.

What you'll find on site

The ground is equipped with a pool accessible to people with reduced mobility, a shared barbecue, a play area for children and a pétanque court. Sanitary facilities are on site, and for those who don't want to pitch a tent, chalets are available to rent.

The crowd is mostly made up of naturist couples and families looking for a quiet spot to set up their tent or motorhome. Far from the festival vibe or the XXL campsite with entertainment round the clock.
