A recent, family friendly campsite
Le Rêve de Poulaines opened its doors in 2024, in the Berry region, about 250 km south of Paris and around twenty minutes from the A20 motorway. Robyn and Inge Meesters, the owners, designed the place for naturist families looking for a calm setting in Centre-Val de Loire.
The grounds remain modest given how young they are, but the atmosphere, according to the first visitors, is warm and unpretentious. It's a far cry from the big resorts, and that's exactly what wins over those who've already been.
Accommodation
The campsite itself runs from June to September, with pitches for tents and caravans. Check in is between 11am and midnight, check out before 11am.
For those who prefer a more hotel style comfort, or who want to discover the place out of season, three guest rooms are open all year round. Check in for these runs between 3pm and midnight, with the same check out time as the campsite.
What you'll find on site
The outdoor pool is the natural gathering point of the site, especially for families with children. Around it, you'll find a small grocery shop, a dining area, a massage service, as well as games for the younger ones.
