A mas in the Minervois

Le Mas de Lignières sits at the place called Montcélèbre, in the town of Cesseras, right in the heart of the Haut Languedoc regional nature park. This is vineyard and scrubland country, far from the bustle, with the Minervois stretching out all around.

The grounds enjoy a full south exposure that gives generous sunshine nearly all year round. That's a real asset for a naturist campsite, where light is as much part of the experience as the setting itself.

A family story

Jeanne and Gilles founded this naturist center in 1987 and still run it themselves today. That continuity shows in the spirit of the place: personal management, geared toward a family clientele rather than volume.

The campsite has only 26 pitches, a number kept deliberately small. The idea behind that choice: keep a sense of intimacy with the surrounding nature and a friendly atmosphere among naturists, without the crowding of bigger setups.

Facilities and life on site

On the grounds, you'll find one or more pools, areas set up for sunbathing, a restaurant and a garden. The pitches welcome tents as well as caravans.

Around the campsite, hikers can head out into the Haut Languedoc, a range well suited to day walks. Le Mas de Lignières works as a quiet base for those who want to combine naturism with nature in the broader sense.

Status and recognition

The center is approved by the Fédération française de naturisme and rated 3 stars by the Hérault prefecture, a level of comfort and facilities maintained consistently since it opened.
