La Source Saint-Pierre

On the banks of the Hérault
La Source Saint-Pierre stretches along the Hérault river, in the commune of Aniane, set in a landscape of Languedoc nature. The domain makes direct use of the river for swimming and boating, with easy access to canoeing and kayaking.

The grounds are fenced off at night, which reassures families and couples alike as they come here for a naturist stay from spring through to the end of summer.

Accommodation and rates
The campsite has 70 naturist pitches and 98 spots in total, including 17 rentals: mobile homes, equipped tents and chalets. Pitches rent for between 20 and 30 euros a night, rentals between 50 and 100 euros depending on size.

Capacity remains modest compared to the big naturist domains of the South, which gives the place a human scale, rated 3 stars. The site is open from May 1st to September 30th.

Comfort and relaxation
On the wellness side, the campsite offers a heated pool, a hammam and a jacuzzi. There's also a boules court, play areas, and free wifi across the whole site.

For dining, a bar and a restaurant are on site, with a butcher's counter and fresh bread every day, handy for avoiding trips back and forth by car. Activities are organized from June to mid-September.

Atmosphere and reviews
Visitors describe a warm welcome and staff who speak both French and English. The pitches are considered spacious and well shaded, and the sanitary facilities are regularly praised as spotless.

The riverside setting comes up often as the highlight of the stay, as does the proximity to Aniane's shops, reachable by bike. The one downside noted by some regulars: the access road to the campsite, which could use some work.
