Club du Soleil de Dijon-Dienay

A club that has crossed the decades

Founded in 1953, the Club du Soleil de Dijon-Dienay claims the title of oldest naturist club in Bourgogne-Franche-Comte. It's a non-profit association under the 1901 law, affiliated with the Federation Française de Naturisme, which gives its members easier access to other approved clubs and centers all over France.

The local press has taken an interest in it several times, praising above all this rare longevity and a way of living naturism that goes beyond a simple summer parenthesis.

Grounds reserved for members

Here, there's no gate open to the public and no online booking like in a classic campsite. Access is by key, reserved for people whose membership fees are up to date, and the grounds stay available all year round, 365 days a year.

The place doesn't have official campsite approval in the strict sense, by the way: there's no running water on site. It's a club run as an association, designed for its members more than for the occasional welcome of passing vacationers.

Membership fees and how it works

Access goes through an annual membership whose amount isn't publicly displayed. This fee includes the FFN license, a real plus for anyone who likes to get around and visit other naturist venues outside Diénay.

A club life rather than just a plot of land

The calendar is punctuated by regular get-togethers: galette des rois at the start of the year, board game and pancake afternoons once a month, hikes organized between members. The club also takes part in the naturist balneo sessions offered in the region, in Dijon as well as in Besançon, in connection with the naturist network of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.

These activities give the place more of a social dimension than a purely summer one, far from the image of a campsite where you pass through without ever running into the same faces twice.

Setting and atmosphere
